The Philadelphia Daily News has endorsed Anne Dicker in the three-way contest for the Democratic Party nomination to run for the 1st Pennsylvania Senate District seat."Her idealism may lead to some bruising in Harrisburg, but we think she's smart enough to navigate those shoals," the newspaper writes of Dicker. "Besides, haven't we had enough of the jaded business-as-usual? She is the only candidate in this race who has the ability to represent a new day in Harrisburg."
The DLN's sister paper, The Philadelphia Inquirer, gave a lukewarm nod to Larry Farnese earlier this week.
The 1st District Senate seat is being vacated by Sen. Vince Fumo.
