Congressional Dems flunk taxpayer rankings

HT to Policy Blog for noting that The National Taxpayers Union has released its 2007 Congressional Rankings.

How did the mostly Democratic Pennsylvania delegation do when it comes to spending and tax policies? Not so good. Call them the Dirty Dozen. Here's how 12 Democrats who represent Pennsylvania House districts (and Sen. Bob Casey) did on their report card:

Murphy, P F 13%
Altmire F 12%
Carney F 9%
Schwartz F 7%
Sestak F 7%
Holden F 6%
Fattah F 5%
Kanjorski F 5%
Brady F 4%
Murtha F 4%
Doyle F 3%

Sen. Bob Casey Jr. F 7%

Here's how the Pennsylvania Republican delegation from Pennsylvania scored:

Pitts A 87%
Shuster B 74%
Peterson C+ 62%
English C- 47%
Platts C- 46%
Dent C- 41%
Murphy, T C- 39%
Gerlach C- 35%

And bringing up the rear is Sen. Arlen Specter with a D 34% (It appears Specter is more at home with the Democratic delegation).
