PA Communities Eligible for Historic Preservation Grants

The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission has $116,000 in grant money it wants to hand out to cities, boroughs and townships designated by the National Park Service as "certified local governments."

Grant applications are due by Jan. 15, 2010.

Tony,
It is you civic duty to email this to Dave Kessler (D Berks). When he voted with Rendell to halt funding for the Boone Homestead, he admitted he was asleep at the switch and did not know what he was voting for; only that "fast eddie" wanted it and screw the residents of Berks county.

He was voted in as a reformer but could not resist jumping on the bandwagon. Dave, Dave!! wake up. don't miss this one. Get a few bucks and have the place painted. Daniel would like it maybe he will forgive your screwup
