For those of you who are keeping track, this week marks the 25th time in 2009 that TONY PHYRILLAS reached No. 1 on the BlogNetNews.com/Pennsylvania Weekly Influence Index.
That distinction breaks the previous record of 24 trips to No. 1 set by TONY PHYRILLAS in 2008.
This blog also set a new record for most consecutive weeks at No. 1 with a six-week run at the top spot in January-February 2009.
My blog has finished No. 1, No. 2 or No. 3 in the Weekly Influence Index every week in 2009. Barring some unforeseen circumstance, TONY PHYRILLAS will finish in the Top 5 for 52 consecutive weeks this year, a record set in 2007 and matched in 2008. That's what I call consistency.
One other note about the BNN rankings. Only 5 Pennsylvania blogs out of the more than 100 that participate in the BNN site have reached the No. 1 spot in 2009, the fewest in any year since the rankings began. My closest rival has been the merry band of bloggers at PaWaterCooler.com
