'Liberal message heard, rejected'

Check out an op-ed piece in The Mercury by Richard R. Tennesen about how liberals have been crying for eight years that voters made a mistake in electing (and re-electing) George W. Bush.
The most common excuses for not winning the White House back then are that, "We just couldn't effectively communicate our message" and "We didn't get our message to all the people who needed to hear it." I couldn't disagree more. The liberal message was indeed heard. What the liberals don’t seem to grasp is the concept that the message was rejected.
Tennesen believes the Democratic Party is headed for another downfall this November regardless of whether Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama is the nominee.
