Weekly GOP Address: $2 Trillion Tax Hike Ahead

In the Weekly Republican Address, Senate Republican Whip Jon Kyl (R-AZ) laments Democrats' focus on their unpopular health spending bill when Americans want Washington to promote job growth.

Sen. Kyl says, "The American people have been telling Washington that promoting job growth must be the first priority. But, for more than a year, Congress and the President have focused instead on a controversial health spending bill which a majority of Americans said they didnt want."

He gives an alternative to the big spending and big taxing ways of Washington Democrats, explaining, "Republicans have a better plan. We believe the best course is to encourage job creation by private companies. And the way to do that is to limit intrusion by Washington and to keep taxes at a manageable level."

Of corporations doing business on US soil, only 28% pay any tax on income.

I wonder what he considers a "manageable level" to be?

That's where the government manages more of your money than you do! They believe all money belongs to them and they just let you have enough to keep you from rioting. They also know that we taxpayers are responsible and don't believe in violence to get what we want. The working class is too busy working and taking care of their families to take time to riot like the welfare left that have nothing to do but create chaos. Conservatives get most of their values from their parents and the left get theirs from progressive government schools since many don't have 2 parents in the family to learn from. Besides, after 3 generations of being taught that welfare is good and owed to them, the parents and their children don't know any better.
