Rep. Allyson Schwartz ducking the press?

Margaret Gibbons, who covers the Montgomery County Courthouse for The Doylestown Intelligencer, is trying to get an answer to a question from Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz, but is not having much luck.

From Gibbons' latest column:

No wonder the Democrat incumbent U.S. Rep. Allyson Y. Schwartz' campaign war chest is spilling over with gold doubloons.

Her campaign committee is apparently only paying for incoming call phone service.

How else can you explain the failure by Schwartz or a campaign staff member to return a phone call I made asking for comment on why Schwartz felt compelled to meddle in GOP politics by recruiting GOPers to file court challenges to the nominating petitions of the three Republican candidates vying with one another to take on Schwartz in November?

Sure hope her district office is more responsive to constituent calls or Schwartz may have to begin job hunting next year.
