Poll: 52% give Obama failing grade

There's nothing scientific about it, but an online poll conducted by The Mercury found 52% of participants giving President Barack Obama failing grades of D or F for his first year in office. More readers (35%) gave Obama an "F" than any other grade. The next highest total (17%) gave Obama a "D."
