'Avatar' tops weekend box office

"Avatar" topped the box office this weekend with an estimated $73.0 million, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com

A pretty good start for one of the most expensive films ever made. And keep in mind that "Titanic," which went on to earn $600 million in domestic box office, started out slowly and built into a monster hit by word-of-mouth. Could James Cameron strike gold again?
