Elected royalty see the taxpayers as the enemy
To the Times:
If you have any doubts that we live in an insane asylum, with the inmates in charge, consider this — 72-year-old Beatty Chadwick sits in jail for 14 years at a cost to the taxpayers of over $3 million dollars because he owes his ex-wife $2.5 million. This, while 72-year-old disgraced ex-mayor, convicted criminal, drug addict and tax evader Marion Barry is being given a kidney transplant – of course, to be paid for by the taxpayers.
The criminals and incompetents running (ruining?) our state in Harrisburg have spent $5.8 million (so far) of the taxpayers’ money investigating $3.7 million worth of crime against the taxpayers. You can expect the total cost to the taxpayers to triple if these crimes go to court. You can also expect the taxpayers to recover zero dollars from the criminals, no matter what happens.
Thousands of felons, each with dozens of convictions roam our streets, killing our police officers, taxpayers and innocent children, thanks to a "catch-and-release" legal system, paid for by the taxpayers.
Our elected royalty wants to stop these criminals by disarming law-abiding citizens, at a cost of more millions from the taxpayers. A so-called "doctor" experimenting on a mentally ill woman "helps" her produce 14 children (some of them already on permanent Social Security disability), to be supported by the taxpayers.
Thousands of our former elected royalty collects billions of dollars in pensions and health care, after the disgusted voters throw them out of office (some of them in prisons), paid for by the taxpayers. They are usually replaced by the same kinds of elected royalty with different names.
Billions of taxpayer dollars are given to the greedy super rich incompetents and crooks that have ruined their companies while they looted them and robbed their stockholders. The results? The bosses now have more money to stuff in their pockets.
Our elected royalty considers (amnesty) giving what is left of our country to invading criminals who are destroying our future with unlimited crimes and seem to have a most important value: They are not taxpayers. What is it about taxpayers that appears to have made them the enemy of our elected royalty?

Blame it on the 'elected royalty'
I like this Letter to the Editor originally published in The Delaware County Daily Times. If you voted for an incumbent in last November's election, you're responsible for the mess they've made in Harrisburg and Washington, D.C.
