my husband and I are having trouble figuring out where the problem is about showing ID to vote? after looking over some blogs, there are very few reasonable situations which preclude having a valid ID. If there is anyone out there who feels disenfranchised, I am certain there are people willing to help them get their birth cert, and other things nec to get an ID. go to any mission and ask them to get help, so I don't know why, if it is very important to vote, why a person can't get it together? your church pastor, AA leader, whoever, I'm sure would step in and help. our conclusion is that for those without their IDs in hand, they don't know how, never had, don't care if they ever vote. requiring ID doesn't marginalize anyone who hasn't marginalized themselves.
