Taxpayer: Start cutting at the top

When school boards can't balance district budgets, they threaten to cut programs or raise taxes. Why not lay off administrators earning six-figure salaries?

From a letter to the editor from a frustrated taxpayer: "Once again, we are taking away from the students. Instead of starting at the bottom and punishing the kids, why don't we consider looking at the top level of administration and what it costs the district?"
