Does two-term state Rep. David Kessler, D-130th Dist., have a clue about state gun laws? Kessler and his fellow Oley supervisors recently enacted an ordinance prohibiting township residents from carrying registered firearms, contrary to state law.
Less than 30 days later, Kessler and the two other supervisors are planning to repeal the illegal ordinance.

The supervisors have moved quickly to withdraw the ordinance after gun advocates pointed to a state law that they contend prohibits counties and municipalities from regulating the lawful ownership and possession of firearms.
Supervisors Chairman David R. Kessler, who also is a Democratic state representative, had little to say Wednesday about the change of heart.

What is surprising about this? Dim Dave has been doing stupid things no matter what hat he is wearing. I hope the citizens of 130th district remember dummy Dave sided with fast eddie on his budget and stopped state funding for the Daniel Boone Homestead. Did Dave know that the Homestead was in his congressional district? Or did he forget? Get the resumes out Dave.
