Rep. Kate Harper moves telephone town hall to Sept. 10

State Rep. Kate Harper, R-61st Dist., has switched her upcoming telephone town hall meeting from tonight to Thursday, Sept. 10. Thursday evening's town hall will take place from 6:40 p.m. to 7:40 p.m.

Harper will answer constituents' questions on the state budget impasse, now in its third month, education funding, taxes, environmental initiatives and road projects, among other issues.

To participate in the telephone town hall, people can phone in and simply listen in on the call or pose a questions to the lawmaker.

To participate, 61st District residents may call 1-877-229-8493 toll free, then enter the code 13162 anytime between 6:40 and 7:40 p.m. Thursday. The number and pass code will only work on the scheduled date and time of the call.

Harper's district includes North Wales and portions of Montgomery, Plymouth, Towamencin, Upper Gwynedd, Lower Gwynedd and Whitpain townships.
