Ed Rendell says he will veto a budget compromise announced today by legislative leaders because it does not raise taxes high enough on Pennsylvania residents.
Sounds like we found the problem with the budget impasse. His name is Fast Eddie.
Will the unions protest Rendell for prolonging the stalemate? What about all those government types who kept protesting Republicans for not providing enough state funding for their pet projects? Will they turn their venom toward Rendell?
