'Meatballs' on top of weekend box office

The computer-animated 3-D comedy "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" topped the box office this weekend with an estimated $30.1 million, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com

With a $100 million production budget, the Sony release will have to stay strong for several weeks just to earn its money back.

Things didn't go so well for much-hyped fall films starring female leads. It looks like another bomb for Jennifer Aniston as "Love Happens" finished in fourth place with a paltry $8.5 million.

And without robots that change into planes and trucks surrounding her, hottie Megan Fox couldn't draw much of an audience for her starring role in "Jennifer's Body," a horror-comedy that took in just $6.8 million in its opening weekend.
