Democratic Party hijacked by far left

I like this Letter to the Editor originally published in The Pottstown Mercury from a Montgomery County resident who doesn't recognize the Democratic Party any more.

The Democratic Party has been hijacked by far left radicals

This is an open letter to all moderate Democrats who are patriots and care about preserving this great United States of America.

The Democrat Party has been hijacked. It has been infiltrated by Socialists, Communists, Marxists and Leninists.

A few examples: Van Jones, former "Green Jobs czar," is an avowed communist. Eric Holder, the attorney general, dismissed charges against members of the Black Panthers (an identified hate group with Marxist connections) who intimidated voters at Philadelphia polls last November. Diane E. Watson (D-California’s 33rd Congressional District) recently praised Fidel Castro as the brightest leader she has ever met.

I believe there is a strong possibility that if we do nothing, one morning we will awake to news that we live in a country with a different name, currency, flag and form of government. I hope this is not the change that Barack Obama and his administration are working to accomplish.

This is not a time for party loyalty. If you have the same concerns as me, I encourage you to start to question and research what is going on. Then stand up and speak out against those things that are wrong. Together, we can preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.
