Adding Insult to Injury

After running up a $3.25 billion budget deficit and proposing a $4.5 billion tax hike in an attempt to destroy what's left of the Pennsylvania economy, Gov. Ed Rendell and his staff have now turned to insulting constituents who dare question the direction they're taking the state.

It's not the first time Rendell or one of his minions have resorted to verbal abuse when someone disagrees with them. The subject of today's tirade is a familiar target: Matthew Brouillette, president and CEO of The Commonwealth Foundation.

Brouillette was attempting to pass out information about state spending at a public event when Rendell spokesman Chuck Ardo ordered him to cease and desist. When Brouillette refused, Ardo called him a "flaming asshole." Nice.

Ardo also vowed to keep Brouillette from coming to any future Rendell press conferences.

Brouillette should consider it a badge of honor to be insulted by Rendell and his cronies. It means he is helping expose the fact that Emperor Rendell Has No Clothes.

Brouillette should not be offended since Ardo has been the butt boy for the biggest a**hole in PA for years. Ardo would not recognize one since he is always bent over kissing a**.
