In a shocking new policy that essentially censors all opinions that differ from those of the L.A. Times liberal staff, you must accept the highly-disputed view of climate change or you don't get to have a say in the newspaper.
This is how the Times' letters editor summed up the paper's policy of rejecting all opinions that do no conform:
Simply put, I do my best to keep errors of fact off the letters page; when one does run, a correction is published. Saying "there's no sign humans have caused climate change" is not stating an opinion, it's asserting a factual inaccuracy. This is a black eye for everyone who believes in the First Amendment. It's another shameful example of how liberals will not tolerate any dissent to their rigid believes.
In other words, freedom of the press is only reserved for those who own the press.
