Opinion: Opponents should put a cork in voter ID criticism

Democrats argue senior citizens are too stupid to obtain a valid photo ID, so the courts should reject Pennsylvania's new anti-voter fraud law.

This letter-writer raises a good point: 

Are you aware that on March 1st, 2013 Social Security checks will have to be direct deposited to a bank account, or you will get a debit card to use? You will need a photo I.D. to open a bank account, if you do not have one, and my best guess is you will need one to use your debit card. That is unless you go to a sleazy check cashing joint and pay through the nose to cash in your debit card for cash.
