Even if Pennsylvania lawmakers "give back" their annual COLA, their base pay continues to grow each year - now at $82,000 - and their golden pension plans, which guarantee them a lifetime income courtesy of Pennsylvania taxpayers, will grow higher based on the new salaries.
It's a scheme worthy of Bernie Madoff.
