When will Corbett take off the gloves?

Colin McNickle of The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review is wondering when Republican Tom Corbett will start exposing the shabby record of Democratic opponent Dan Onorato in the race for Pennsylvania governor. In case Corbett doesn't have a calendar, Election Day is less than 30 days away.

From McNickle's latest column:
Patience should be running out among many Republicans waiting for Corbett to begin educating all of Pennsylvania about Onorato's record as Allegheny County chief executive. And there's so much baggage from which to choose.

How about Onorato's failure to play hardball with the unions of the Port Authority and then misrepresenting his "success"? Or what about the machinations to thwart a public referendum on his tax on poured alcoholic drinks?

How about Onorato's nose-thumbing at the courts regarding his unconstitutional property tax reassessment delay that penalized those with declining property values but rewarded those with rising values? And who can forget his disregard for the county home rule charter and the administrative code?

Onorato's real record is easy to expose. It's time for a little Corbett tutorial.
